Library facility is provided for all the students and a Central Library located in a self-contained independent campus. Central Library, spread over an area of 10000 sq ft., complements the academic objectives of the institution through support for learning, teaching, scholarship and research, achieved by efficient and effective delivery of services. It has more than 20,000 latest reference titles on technical, management and related subjects as well as professional journals (both national and international. The reference section is updated with reprints of reports, monographs and compilation of classic articles on each of the courses taught here. As well as offering a full lending and enquiry service, all the libraries provide access to a wide range of information sources in a variety of media. It provides access to CD based study materials, live video lectures by eminent professors from world class institutions and computer based tutorials. The web journal facility provides access to table of contents, abstracts and full text versions of major national and international journals. Digital Library is equipped with inter-net, NPTEL & Developing Library Network (DELNET) facilities to brows e-books, e-journals along with CD/DVD’s are also available. Online access to the e-resource of the Digital Library Portals of IEEE, Wiley Blackwell (CS, CIVIL & etc), Springer (ME), Mc-Graw Hill, J- Gate ( Engg.), ELSEVIER & ASTM Digital Library is feasible anywhere in the campus. Vidya Library software has been installed for library automation. Library uses DDC 22nd ed. System for classification of books and arranged accordingly
The computer center is solely responsible for keeping Computation related facilities among all the students & staff. Computer Center provides Email, Web, DNS, FTP, Internet access, HPC and other services all the time. The centre is centrally air-conditioned and covers area of 300 sq. mtr. The centre is equipped with state-of-the-arts hardware and software. It provides students an insight of the changes in information technology and equips them to manage the context of the changing global scenario. Almost 9 laboratories in computer and IT departments equipped with latest software offer facilities for performing different computational marvels. Study in Computer Systems Laboratory is both experimental and theoretical, traversing many domains: operating systems, computer networking, special architectures, compilers, programming languages, information management, graphics, security, reliability and fault tolerance, system specification and verification, user interfaces and special computer architectures. Students of the department have 24-hour access to all computing labs located within the department.
